So late spring, Addison was wanting to play in the rain. I see little kids frequently wearing rain boots for any kind of weather (particularly our neighbors) but Addison has never had any. So we bought some at garage sale from a family we know in town. Addison was SO EXCITED. Thankfully, it rained the day after we bought them!
The drainage in our neighborhood is quite good, so there isn't really water for her to splash in for very long. Which is why we rush to put the boots on and run out in jammies :)
And then she is sad when it doesn't rain very hard. Ha! She doesn't quite understand the umbrella concept. Sometimes she hands it to us and says "It's not raining very hard, I'm not getting wet" and then in a minute, she comes back for the umbrella because she is actually getting wet. Ha!
