Riding a horse

We went to the Lents Family Christmas on Christmas Eve this year. It was a really nice day so the kids got to go outside. 

On our way to Kevin & Mallory's house, we told Addison about all the animals they have. Mallory had sent us a message telling us to bring clothes to ride horses. We told Addison about the horses but she told us she wasn't going to ride. I kept telling her she should ride with Mallory :) 

We looked all the chickens, foals, and cows. She wasn't too fond of any of them, and was down right scared of the horses. We watched everyone else ride and then went to look at Nica's calves and as we leaving, she said "Dad, I want to ride a horse" We were shocked! We wasted no time getting Mallory over to put Addy on with her. 

Addison did awesome!! We were so surprised. She talks about riding horses with Mallory all the time. We were so proud of her. 

Here were Addison's gifts for her teachers. We did cookie mix, a pot holder, a spatula and a card that said "Thank you for making me one smart cookie!"
By the way, she is wearing her Christmas Paw Patrol shirt with her spider Halloween socks :)
