Like mother like daughter

I had cereal one morning and Addison kept stealing bites. So I got her her own bowl. She actually did pretty good! I LOVE cereal, and apparently so does she!

This one just made me laugh - she was relaxing, reading her new book, but had to stop to check her phone :) haha!

I was getting ready for work one day and came out of the bathroom to see this. She was watching Bubble Guppies, with a remote that doesn't work for that TV, and Ryan's slippers on. She even found a pillow to sit on. haha!

Birds and bunnies

She learned quick the word "I-pad" and what's on the Ipad. I had downloaded a few shows from Amazon prime, one of them being her favorite...Bubble Guppies.

She's watching for birds and bunnies. With no trees in the area, it's surprising that we do actually have quite a few birds or bunnies in the area. They like to hide under the stairs of our deck. Addison LOVES it!

Goofy kid, she loves to put the Mr. Potato Head pieces on herself. Or she makes us put them on her.

She's still carrying Skye around, it had been a couple weeks at this point. But she loves carrying the soap around the house - ha!

Time for cake!

Addison was getting tired of all the photos but she still did pretty good :)

Now the good stuff. She doesn't get cake often, or hardly ever actually, and she thought it was pretty darn good. It's about the only thing she ate that day!

We thought this photo was pretty hilarious, that look she's giving Parker - ha!

We spent a little more time outside after naptime.

Addison was loving my old Mickey Mouse phone. It's not hooked up anymore but Grandma still kept it. I got this phone when I was in about 4th or 5th grade. I was soooo excited. Tracey had a Mickey phone where his hand held the receiver. I wanted one just like it. I was pretty obsessed and was sooo happy when mom bought me one. I spent a lot of hours on this phone talking to Erin!

I remembered and dug out this one of Makena. Pretty darn cute!

Well it was a short day but she was sure tuckered out. She had as good as birthday celebration as she good with a 101 degree fever :) We saved most of the gifts for later, but that's okay. We only got about two or three gifts open.

On the farm

This was back in April so the grass was brown and it was a little chilly. But we still went outside for a little while!

Big Tractor, Little Girl

I wanted her to take a picture with my old Grand Prix, I loved that car. Grandpa Ron uses it as a field car now. Poor kid wasn't feeling well so she didn't want to humor me.

But she wasn't too sick to enjoy the trampoline!

She liked climbing in the tractor, we didn't go for a ride this time. Maybe next time.

We used to make Makena sit in the wheel well of the tractor and pose for pictures. She always humored me. Grandpa Ron told her she needed to do it again. She did it of course! ha!

Look Whoooo's Two!

This was the start of Addison's birthday weekend! To start the weekend, I worked a 16 hour day on Friday. It was a late night then Addison got up bright & early. Not because she was excited, but because she wasn't feeling 100%. I'm surprised we actually got a little smile in the photo above! She is holding her Skye soap that she got in her Easter basket from Grandma Rita, she loves it and carries it around the house. ha!

Saturday we headed to the farm to celebrate her birthday with the Julius side. It was actually the day before her birthday, but it's what worked for us. Aunt Kelly got her the awesome cake.

Once she starting getting her finger in the frosting, she decided it was pretty delicious!

She's saying "oooooo" in response to her lit candle.

We were missing Brayden, he had some baseball games that day.

Addison loves owl's so we thought we would incorporate some owls in her birthday. She was super excited! More to come.....

Addy's chores

Once again, trying to get all her hair up in a ponytail, she's getting closer!

Addy needs to earn her keep. Taking pop cans to the garage to recycle and then also taking any milk jugs out have become her responsibility. She's quite good at it. She was helping Grandpa Ron one time at his house, and he told her "it's going to take a while if you only take 2 cans at time" (the whole family was there, we had quite a few cans......) We said "she can take more, just keep handing them to her" He did, I think she got 5. ha!

This was back in April when she really got into bird watching. She would sit at this window forever (and still does) looking for birds. Now we are more interested in bunnies. :)

Strike a pose

I was trying outfits on her for her 2 year old photos. She was doing really good standing for a picture (to send Grandma Rita). So I decided to have some fun. She is supposed to have her hands on her hips in the photos above. But she put her hands on her back and stuck her belly out instead.

If there was sound, she would be saying "hhmmmm....." in the photo above. It's hilarious, trust me.

Outfit #2 with hands on her hips.

Her arms are supposed to be crossed. She looks like she is posing in a 80's music group :) ha!

I have fun with her copying me, she will try to mimic about anything!
