The Ocean

We went to Fort Myers Beach one day. Addison had a slight fever that day, so she wasn't 100%. But we still had a good time!

All we had to say was "ice cream" and we got this smile :) 

3 incredibly happy kiddos. Makena and Conner had to share with me and Grandpa Ron though. When you have a buy one get one free coupon, you buy the biggest blizzard. 

We walked to the end of the pier to look at the ocean. Decided to snap a few pictures too. 

My two favorite girls! I love watching Addison and Makena play together, these two girls gotta stick together among all the boys - ha!

Florida - all about babies

Addison tried playing the Headbanz game with us. Makena was pretty good at it. Addison just yelled out the picture she saw on everyone's cards. Ha! 

Florida Part IV

We spent lots of time in the pool. Addison did really good at just sitting on the step and not trying to get too adventurous. 

She kept pretty close track of the treasure chest. She pretty much knew where it was at all times. 

Doing the Juicy Wiggle with Conner. She loved goofing around with the boys in the house. I apparently didn't have too many photos with the boys in them.

Grandma Rita had a couple ribbons that Addison wrapped around Addison's ankles. Addison pretended her legs were hurt and Makena was making them feel better. She was pretty entertaining. 

Florida Part III - Shopping

We went shopping at the outlets one day. This is how Addison apparently felt about that. Ha! Actually, she had a great time. We went to Vineyard Vines and Addison absolutely loved all the whales. She thought it was the best store ever. She kept begging to go back after we left. 

We found the school bus and she was pretty excited. 

We sent this one to Ryan and he said she looks so grown up. She grew while we were gone :) 

It wasn't moving but these two didn't care. 

Had to take a picture outside the Puma store. I think Addison could spot a Puma a half mile away. Kid loves the Puma brand. Although now Vineyard Vines is a close contender. 

She loved the ponds with the turtles and fish. There were a bunch of baby turtles so she was pretty entertained. 

Florida Part III

We sent this one to Ryan since he had to stay home. 

We LOVED having Makena on vacation with us, she would get in the pool whenever Addison wanted to :) 

This is as far as Grandma Rita would get in. :) 

Not really sure who wants to have a bonfire when it's 80 degrees out, but Grandma Rita and Addison enjoyed it. 

I think they were deep in conversation. I wonder what they were talking about...... probably life goals. Ha! 

Florida Post II

We figured out those floatie worked perfect for Addison in the pool. She's holding a treasure chest that is holding 38 coins. She LOVED them. She had a blast throwing them in the pool and then asking Makena, Conner, and Parker to go get them. They would put some up on the edge of the pool and then why they dove down to get more, she would throw the coins back in the pool. It was a never ending cycle!

We went out for seafood one night. Addison and Grandma Rita stayed home. I wasn't real sure where Tracey was taking us, it was quite the hole in a wall. But sometimes a hole in the wall can be the best. It was pretty good, I'm not a big seafood person. But I would eat there again! 

Off to Florida!

Yup I'm still back in March. Addison and I went to Florida to meet up with the rest of the family. It was the first flight me and Addison had by ourselves and it was great. She was super excited for the airplane.

 And she doesn't stray too far from me, so I wasn't worried at all about her running away in the airport. In fact, the issue was more that she wouldn't let me put her down. Ha! I carried her and our bags a lot. But I did sign up for TSA Pre-Check, so that helped quite a bit. Definitely worth it!

Aww, the lifesaver on a 3 hour flight. The iPad. Ha! I got to read my book a little and relax. And snacks, they are a lifesaver as well. She did great on a 3 hour flight, couldn't have gone better. 

We got off the airplane outside in Florida, so of course I had to stop and make her take a picture. I wanted to stop closer to the plane, but wasn't sure if the airport people would yell at me.....
