Huxley Prairie Fest

This picture was at the end of the night, but they deserved some mini donuts after hours of jumping in the bounce houses and running around! I love that these kids can go strong all day and not get real tired and cranky :) They enjoyed the music and the street party!

We were on the opposite side of the street of where Addison was and she didn't us. Ha! We were waiting for her good chocolate :)

And we were so happy that Coy changed daycares and was in the same room as Mason!! These two are best friends :)

We were excited to find Cyclone Beer! Ha! With all the controversary around Bud Light, we got a big rebate for this beer. They are practically paying us to drink BL :)

First Day of 2nd Grade

Ironically I'm writing this as next week is the last day of 2nd grade! One of the things Addison was most excited about when starting 2nd grade was the last day of 2nd grade. Ha! On the last day of 2nd grade, they invited all the parents to come and make a tunnel to give hi-fives. Addison has been looking forward to this day all year..... I hope it doesn't disappoint! 
 

Paw Patrol to the Rescue & Parent Picnic

 

The kids liked to play "Paw Patrol" with Mason's bike and the Paw Patrol car. Someone plays Chase and the other is Marshall and they are off to the rescue! They make up different scenarios of people in trouble, then go off to rescue people and arrest the bad guys. 

They love kinetic sand..... but for some reason it really sticks to Mason! It's not supposed to be messy, but if Mason is involved....it's messy!

Mason's Parent Picnic! There was an open invite to parents to join the picnic. I showed up on time..... no other parents were there. Ha! Only one other parent showed up. It was awkward. Ha! 

We went outside for the picnic and just as we were putting together sandwiches..... big raindrops started for fall. So we all moved back inside! The kids had a good time with their picnic. Ironically, Mason has his picnic in the next room today! Parents weren't invited this time :) 

In August, Mason had his last day in the Butterfly room. He had been at Lilypad for 3 months with Miss Cassie and Miss Jess. Next up, the Grasshopper room! 

Adventureland!

There was a deal on season passes last September for Adventureland, so I jumped on it. We didn't have passes throughout the summer, so the kids were SUPER excited. 

Mason has been begging to go back to Adventureland for the last month or two. All he wanted to do for his birthday was go to Adventureland, but they weren't open. They open this weekend, he can't decide if he wants to go to the farm or Adventureland.... he wants to do both! 

We went twice last fall and even got to enjoy the water park one hot day. I'm pretty excited for another summer going to Adventureland :) 

It's hard to see, but his hands were SUPER messy..... I wish I could remember what we were eating! It might have been a chocolate covered granola bar that melted. He was a giant mess.....hence why we are sitting on the ground outside the car. Ha!
